  • The IAB New Zealand Digital Effectiveness Council guides the industry on the best methods to optimise performance and effectiveness across the full digital spectrum, and includes the following Working Groups:

    Audio Working Group: Provides education on the increasing value of online audio and podcasts as powerful and effective advertising mediums.

    Video & Attention Working Group: Educates the industry on the power of video to engage attention across all digital advertising platforms.

    Gary has worked many digital roles, spanning close to a decade in digital media. He has spent his whole career agency side, with his first position in paid Search. Through his time on the tools, Gary developed a sound foundation on the fundamentals of optimisation and measurement. His passion to solve client problems saw him transition into account management, where he took this skillset to London. Gary’s time abroad saw him gain global brand experience as the digital lead on the IKEA business. He returned to New Zealand in 2018, working as the digital lead across some marque kiwi brands including BNZ and Fonterra. His role at agency has seen him head the digital investment and implementation planning products for all of MediaCom New Zealand. Most recently, Gary led a team of digital media specialists across a broad portfolio of brands at MBM, spanning insurance, SAAS and retail. He has since moved to FCB as Group Business Director. Gary has been a member of the IAB New Zealand’s Digital Effectiveness Council since May 2021 and was awarded the Council Member of the Year at the 2021 IAB New Zealand Digital Advertising Awards. Gary has a clear passion for digital and the value it delivers within the broader marketing mix.

    Jessica is currently the Country Manager for Australia and New Zealand at Integral Ad Science, the global leader in Media Quality. In this role, she leads the business’ commercial efforts, responsible for planning and executing the go-to-market strategy and business objectives.     Lisa is a leading expert on digital advertising and marketing with over 16 years’ experience in the industry. Her career in digital started at MSN NZ as the first sales person in New Zealand selling the brand. Lisa then went on to start ad2one NZ where she launched over 15 global products into the New Zealand market, opening up opportunities to advertisers that they couldn't previously access. Following the success of ad2one Lisa then went onto launching Digital Commons, a third party sales house with exclusive representation of a number of international products. In 2021 after a successful 7 years Lisa sold Digital Commons to MediaWorks. Lisa is now the Head of Digital Revenue for MediaWorks continuing to grow the MediaWorks digital landscape and offering.

    Noteworthy achievements punctuate Sarah's trajectory. She emerged as a finalist for Council Member of the Year in the 2021 IAB New Zealand Digital Advertising Awards and clinched the prestigious Gold Award for Video Sales Excellence. In 2017, her prowess also earned her recognition as a finalist in Digital Media Sales Excellence (Display), a testament to her consultative approach and quantifiable accomplishments.

    Tina Trenkner-Meade is the Head of Transact, which is Omnicom Media Group NZ's e-commerce consultancy and practice. In her role, Tina provides support to teams and clients who work with OMD, PHD, and Hearts and Science to help them optimize their ecommerce and retail media strategies.

    Tina joined OMG in 2022, bringing with her experience as a client-side e-commerce lead in health, beauty, and wellness brands, as well as e-commerce specialist agency experience.

    Before working in ecommerce, Tina had roles in digital media at the NZ Herald, and in various publications and organizations based in Washington, DC.

    Sandra has over 15 years of experience in media sales and management roles in London and Sydney. Sandra joined Vistar Media as part of their Australian launch team in 2019, where she developed the programmatic DOOH category and drove demand-side revenues across the ANZ markets.

    In 2022 Sandra returned home to New Zealand to lead Vistar's expansion of operations there, providing on-the-ground resources for agencies and suppliers, growing and developing new and existing business, and championing the programmatic DOOH category.

    Sandra is passionate about leveraging programmatic DOOH technologies and data-driven strategies to deliver successful campaigns for clients and together with Briscoes and Stanley St, won Gold for Best Use of DOOH in the 2022 IAB New Zealand Digital Advertising Awards.
